How to install Sample Data on Venus/Venus 2

Let’s come to see how can we install Sample data for BJ Venus or BJ Venus 2

First step, log in to your Joomla administration

Second, go to Extensions –> Install/Uninstall, browse for your template installation file and click “Upload File & Install”

After you click “Upload File & Install” , a new window will appear, just click to the link to install sample data. Or, you can go to Extensions –> Template Manager –> BJ Venus/Venus 2 ; you can find the same link there.

There will be a notification window appearing after you click to the link. This is to inform you that, when the sample data is installed, all the current data will be replaced. This is necessary to make sure that you do not put any important information in the system so that you will not lose them.

You need to install all the needed extensions to make it work. Extensions needed are

BJ! Image Slider 2 (component and module)

BJ! Dropdown Menu module

BJ! Content Tab module

BJ! Content Slider module

BJ! Photo Gallery module

BJ! Headline Roller module

All the related extensions are in your download package for PRO and DEV version.

To install extensions, do the same as you do to install template: go to Extensions –> Install/Uninstall, browse for your installation file and upload it. You should do it before you start to install sample data.

When every extensions are installed, click the link There will be a new window open

Just one more step and we will get to Rome 😀 Make sure that you copy the sample images to your server. All the sample images are in your download package. It’s here.

Just download the sample images file, unzip it and put it in your root folder in your server.

And you are done, congratulation, Rome is in front of us \:D/
