How to install Sample data in BJ Jupiter

Sample data is provided in download package of PRO and DEV version. We call it QUICKSTART package

If you cannot find it, you can download it again in the Byjoomla client site http://clients.byjoomla.com/client_login.php

NOTE:

This package will create a new Joomla installation with all BJ extensions and sample data. We use localhost server to present.
Available only for Joomla 1.5, Joomla 1.6, Joomla 1.7 and Joomla 2.5

1. Preparation process

Step 1: Login to your account and view your order.

Step 2: Download Quick start package and save it to your root folder. Unzip the file and rename the folder as you want

Step 3: Go to localhost http://localhost/ (name of your quick start folder)

For example: http://localhost/jupiter

2. Installation process

Step 1: Language setting

Choose your language and press “Next”

Step 2: Pre-installation check

Make sure that you install all the items are supported. If everything is alright, press “Next”

Step 3: Licences

Check all the terms and press “Next”

Step 4: Database configuration

Fill in all the database information

Step 5: FTP Configuration

Press “Next” button

Step 6: Configuration

Confirm all the information needed

(!important) Choose “Install default Sample data”, click to “Install Sample Data” and press “Next”

Step 7: Finish

Please remember to remove the installation directory in the installation folder. It is here.

Congratulation, you have already installed successfully sample data. Let’s press Site button to check it out.
